Pedal Your Arts : Tour du Village

August 4th August 25th, September 15th

This bicycle tour (approximately 10km) explores a variety of visual arts offerings while enjoying this scenic village from the comfort of a bicycle seat. Anyone who can ride a bike can do this tour. Your hosts are experienced cyclists with intimate knowledge of the area and years of guiding practice. Pedal Your Arts: Gears for Guilford

West Guilford is a pleasant little community a few kilometers to the north of the Village of Haliburton. Amongst the white pines and the lovely lakes live a group of artists who have come here to hone their crafts and create. We will visit some of them, in their studios, on this 35 km. bicycle tour. Frontenac Challenge

September 1st 2010 - October 31st 2010

The Frontenac Challenge involves hiking all 160 km of Frontenac Provincial Park’s trail network between September 1st and October 31st.  To meet the challenge, all participants have to do is pick up a registration form and the Frontenac Provincial Park Office, obtain a park permit and then set out to hike through the autumn splendor of Frontenac Provincial Park.  Participants will receive a certificate at an awards BBQ on November 7th at the Park. more...
